About this template

A weekly grid with a column per provider and rows for each time slot, color coded as booked, open, or blocked. Utilization percentages update per provider and per day as you fill or block slots, so the Thursday afternoon that always runs empty stands out immediately. Built for the office manager who juggles this today in a spreadsheet with colored cells.

The live demo ships with sample data: A two-week schedule for five providers in 30 minute slots, pre-filled to realistic 60 to 85 percent utilization with lunch blocks and admin time.

The prompt behind this template

This is the exact description the Prized agent built it from. Yours can be one sentence: the agent fills in the rest, and you refine from there.

Show the full prompt

Build a provider schedule planner for Lakeside Family Health, a five provider clinic, replacing the office manager's spreadsheet of colored cells with a live, color coded grid. Layout. The hero is a day grid: one column per provider and one row per 30 minute slot from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Day tabs for Monday through Friday sit above the grid beside a This week / Next week toggle. Cells are color coded: booked cells are filled in the accent and show the visit type plus a coded patient ID like PT-3308, blocked cells are muted gray with the reason (lunch, admin, meeting), and open cells stay nearly white. Sixty minute entries span two rows. Each provider's column header shows their name and that day's utilization percentage, tinted green at 75 percent or higher, amber from 55 to 74, and red below 55. A summary strip above the grid shows a utilization chip per weekday for the selected week, and a right rail shows a horizontal bar per provider for weekly utilization. Clicking an open cell opens a dialog to book it (patient code, visit type, 30 or 60 minutes) or block it with a reason; clicking a booked cell shows details with a cancel option. Data. Seed 5 providers: two physicians, two physician assistants, and one nurse practitioner, with names. Every provider has a standing 12:00 to 1:00 lunch block every day. For the current week seed about 145 bookings of 30 or 60 minutes with visit types like well child, follow-up, physical, and same day sick, plus about 10 scattered admin and meeting blocks, landing each provider between 60 and 85 percent utilization. For next week seed about 35 early bookings so it reads mostly open. Plant the story: Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00 is nearly empty for Dr. Meissner and PA Cole, dragging Thursday to 48 percent against a weekly average of 72, while Dr. Alvarez runs at 88 percent all week. Behavior. Utilization counts booked slots against available slots, excluding lunch and other blocked time from the denominator. Booking or blocking updates the percentages immediately. The grid opens on today's weekday in the current week. Visual identity. Use an indigo accent for booked cells, primary actions, and active tabs on a soft light neutral base, so open white space literally looks like open time.
