About this template

Move every catering lead through inquiry, quoted, tasting, booked, and completed stages, with event date, guest count, quote amount, and deposit status on each card. A revenue view totals booked events by month, so you know which weekends are already committed before you say yes to another one. Overdue follow-ups and unpaid deposits are flagged right on the board.

The live demo ships with sample data: Sixteen events spread across the pipeline for a cafe's catering side business, from a 20-person office lunch inquiry to a 150-guest wedding with a paid deposit and a signed event order.

The prompt behind this template

This is the exact description the Prized agent built it from. Yours can be one sentence: the agent fills in the rest, and you refine from there.

Build a catering pipeline tracker for Willow Lane Cafe, a neighborhood cafe whose owner runs a growing catering side business and needs every lead visible from first call to paid event. Two tabs. The default Pipeline tab opens with four stat cards: Pipeline Value at $31,400, Booked Next 60 Days at $19,800, Deposits Outstanding at $2,950, and Overdue Follow Ups at 2. Below them sits a board with five columns: Inquiry, Quoted, Tasting, Booked, and Completed, each header showing a card count and a total quote value. Every card carries the event name, client name, event date, guest count, quote amount, a deposit badge, and a follow up flag where one is due. Deposit badges read green for paid, amber for due, and red when a booked event inside 21 days still has no deposit. Sort cards by event date within each column. The second tab, Revenue, shows a bar chart of booked plus completed revenue by month spanning the last three months and the next three, and beneath it a committed weekends list: every Saturday and Sunday in the next eight weeks with the events landing on it and their guest counts. Seed 16 events with believable spread: a 20 person office lunch inquiry at $580, a 150 guest wedding booked at $8,900 with deposit paid and a signed event order noted on the card, a 120 guest nonprofit gala quoted at $6,200 whose follow up date is six days past due, a 35 guest retirement lunch inquiry whose follow up is two days past due, a rehearsal dinner in Tasting, a 90 guest corporate picnic booked three weeks out with its deposit unpaid and flagged red, plus brunch buffets and holiday lunches ranging from $450 to $8,900. Plant the insight: the month two months out towers on the revenue chart because three of its four Saturdays are already booked, including the wedding, so the owner should stop saying yes to that month. Behavior: column totals, pipeline value, and monthly revenue are computed from the cards; everything else is entered. A New Inquiry button opens a dialog capturing client, event name, event date, guest count, and quote amount. Each card offers a stage control to move it forward and a detail dialog for editing deposit status and follow up date. The board must tell the crowded month and overdue follow up stories from seeded data alone, with nothing clicked. Use a warm amber accent for primary actions, column highlights, and active states on a clean light neutral base, with the welcoming feel of a busy cafe counter.
